BUILD – Frequently asked questions
1) How is BUILD assembled?
Tool-free: modules connect with clips. For wall mounting, screw the clips to the wall once, then hang the modules. You can later rebuild or extend without tools.
2) What modules / sizes / colors are available?
BUILD modules are one size and connect in any direction for endless layouts. Colors: white and black. Optional closed units, inserts and caps help tailor looks and function.
3) Can I use BUILD free-standing or on the wall?
Both. Build freestanding sideboards or dividers, or mount sections to the wall using the clips. Mixed layouts are possible.
4) How stable is BUILD – how much weight can it take?
Stability depends on configuration and wall fixation. Use suitable plugs/screws for your wall. For low loads, fewer wall clips are enough; for higher loads (e.g., many books/vinyl), simply use more wall clips as needed.
5) What is BUILD made of – is it sustainable?
ARPRO EPP (expanded polypropylene): ultra-light, durable and 100% recyclable. About 95–98% air, toxin-free, odorless and allergy-friendly. Made in Germany.
6) How do I clean and care for the system?
Wipe with a damp cloth; soap or dishwashing detergent is fine. The material tolerates many cleaning agents and can be steam-cleaned or disinfected. Avoid abrasives.
7) Can I extend or reconfigure later?
Yes. All BUILD modules are identical, so you can extend and reconfigure layouts at any time without tools.

Modules include connector clips (approx. 1.5 per unit). No tools for connecting modules; a screwdriver/drill is only needed to screw wall clips to the wall.

The packaging is optimized to accommodate up to four BUILD modules per box.

Material for sustainable furniture
BUILD is made with 100% recyclable and emission free Expanded Polypropylene, It is allergy friendly, toxin-free, emission-free, high versatile and has an excellent strength to weight ratio. The material is waterproof and resistant to chemicals and, because it is 95 percent air, extremely lightweight (750 g / 1.6 lbs per unit).
You can hardly damage ARPRO EPP. Even if you were to bash it with a hammer, no worries. That's because ARPRO EPP contains billions of closed air cells that absorb the impact before returning to its original shape. Next, when you move it about Movisi furniture will not scratch even the finest hardwood floors or damage walls if you happen to bump them. This means that the material is also safe for children.
Resistant to bacteria and more: BUILD is unaffected by exposure to oil, grease, petroleum and most common chemicals. It does not support microbial growth. If you are really serious about health, you can even sterilise or steam clean the shelving units.
Easy to clean: Like water off a duck's back, BUILD fends off dirt, spills, stains of all sorts. Just wipe with damp cloth. It couldn't be easier. If you are really serious about cleanliness, in fact, you can disinfect and sterilize the funriture aterial with steam. Although BUILD generally reacts well to aggressive chemicals, it is advised to always clean using a water-dampened cloth with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents.
Mix and match the shelves
All units are compatible. Choose of two versions (open and closed) and colours (black and white) available.The open units make a strong design statement on a wall of a contrasting color, while the closed units are perfect as tables, stools or individual transport boxes.
Installation
BUILD is installed and reconfigured in minutes by just one person. The shelving modules are supplied with special clips. Use them to hold the shelves together or mount them on the wall (in this case you will need to screw the clip into the wall).
