MOVISI SONIC consists of recycled plastic bottles (PET, post-consumer content of at least 60%). The origin of the PET fibers is certified by an independent institute, and we are proud to have partnered with Impact Acoustic - the only material manufacturer on the market who can trace 100% of their raw material.

How does it work?

MOVISI HUSH acoustic panels are 12 mm thick, “floating” on 4 mm of wall magnets. This space between the wall and the panel are key for buffering sound, making HUSH wall panels more effective, more attractive, and more flexible: once installed, the honeycomb panels appear to float on their mountings, allowing light play and reducing sound pollution.

Improved Acoustics for your home or office space

All building materials have certain acoustic properties, as they either absorb, reflect or transmit sound in the room. The acoustic performance depends mainly on the structure of the material. The more open the structure, the more powerful it is. The felt-like constellation of our MOVISI SONIC material, unlike hard materials such as wood or glass, allows it to absorb as many sound waves as possible.

Sustainable and eco-friendly material

Also key for acoustic properties is an open material structure, better for absorbing sound. What’s MOVISI HUSH made of? The MOVISI SONIC acoustic innovation involves construction from upcycled plastic bottles (PET, minimum post-consumer content 60%) that undergo a special felting and heat-binding process, without any additional glue or additives. MOVISI SONIC is LEED accredited and Cradle to Cradle certified, meaning our manufacturers strive for optimum air and water stewardship, social fairness, and circular take-back processes. Currently, the HUSH material is being researched for potential in the building sector. Post-consumer, it can be cut into planks and used in durable, sustainable construction.

The through-dyed fibers of MOVISI SONIC are perfect for brilliant, color-fast hues that won’t fade with usage or even with aggressive cleaning. MOVISI SONIC is naturally antimicrobial, but you can use anything to clean it. Because it can take on the odor of some cleaning solutions, we recommend a fast-evaporating alcohol-based cleaner. We’ve selected a lively range for diverse design concepts, from naturals to energetic brights. MOVISI HUSH arrives with a triangular installation tool to help align adjacent wall panels and with magnets already mounted – simple, effective, and good for all.
